Leicester’s Rising Indie Rockers Drop Their Fifth Single of 2024

Rising indie rock band The Harbours have capped off a stellar 2024 with the release of Live It Up, their fifth and final single of the year, on November 10th. Packed with upbeat melodies, infectious hooks, and lyrics that demand celebration, Live It Up embodies the band’s mission to get listeners on their feet and into the moment.

A Meteoric Year for The Harbours

Formed in April 2024, The Harbours have had a whirlwind debut year. Fronted by Ollie Drakard and Will Massarella-Tyler, the band first met during lockdown at university, where hours of jamming sessions laid the foundation for their distinctive indie-pop sound.

With over 200,000 Spotify streams and a viral TikTok presence boasting 75,000 followers, The Harbours are fast becoming a name to watch in the UK music scene. Their earlier tracks, like Out of Sight and So Sweet, earned praise from BBC Introducing and Rutland Radio, while Live It Up has already been crowned “Track of the Week” by BBC Introducing Leicester.

About Live It Up

Designed as the soundtrack to unforgettable nights, Live It Up is a feel-good anthem for gathering friends, hitting the town, and making memories. With punchy guitars, an energetic beat, and a sing-along chorus, the track perfectly captures the essence of youthful exuberance.

Live It Up is about seizing the moment and celebrating life’s highs,” explains lead vocalist Ollie. “After the challenges of recent years, we wanted to write something that reminds people to go out, connect, and enjoy the ride.”
