KaiserKillers Reimagine Saints Preserve Us in Explosive New Remix

British PowerPopPunk trio KaiserKillers are back with a fresh take on their track Saints Preserve Us. This 25 Mix reinvents the song with new drums, additional guitar parts, and an electrified production approach that injects the track with vibrant energy and a punchy new attitude. Mixed and mastered by Francis Gorini at London Mastering Studio, this latest release delivers a sound that is melodic yet rebellious, nostalgic yet innovative.

A Band Rooted in Rock & Roll History

KaiserKillers is the brainchild of Johnny Zero (Guitar/Vocals), Andy DeForest (Bass), and Styx McIntosh (Drums). Johnny and Andy have been musical partners-in-crime since the ’90s, previously playing in The Isolationists and Martin’s Dad in Huddersfield, before life took them on different paths—one to Bristol for Dental School, the other to Coventry to design cars. Their passion for music never faded, and when they reunited, KaiserKillers was born.

The name? A nod to The Kaiser Keller, the legendary Hamburg club where The Beatles honed their craft—because, as the band puts it, "A killer set at the Kaiser Keller!"

What Makes Saints Preserve Us (25 Mix) Stand Out?

This revamped version transforms the original track into a harder-hitting, sonically expansive anthem, perfect for fans of Buzzcocks, Blondie, The Only Ones, and The Smiths. With influences spanning from The Byrds and Small Faces to The Pixies and Nirvana, KaiserKillers blend punk energy with Britpop melodies, creating something undeniably infectious and exhilarating.

"This remix is an ode to liars everywhere. It’s energetic, it’s searching, and it verily bounces, so it does!" – Johnny Zero

A Unique Recording Approach: The band isn’t afraid to experiment. Seeking an authentic glam rock feel, they added percussive layers by recording Andy jumping up and down on a breadboard in his kitchen—because sometimes, creativity means thinking outside the box (or, in this case, stomping on it).

Where to Hear Saints Preserve Us (25 Mix)?

The track is now streaming on all major platforms, and fans can catch KaiserKillers on radio stations across the UK and the US, including Jiggy Jaguar Show WBOB909, Into the Pit on Voodoo Radio, and E:W:L Review Show.

What’s Next for KaiserKillers?

With multiple radio features and a steadily growing fanbase, KaiserKillers are gearing up for more releases, live gigs, and further experimentation with their signature PowerPopPunk sound.

"KaiserKillers were thawed out of a cryogenic trance to create sumptuously layered guitar magic with an intricate lyrical overlay… Either that, or we did a bit of strumming and got lucky!" – Johnny Zero
