*WHERE YOU BEEN?*

REVIEW

Where do I start with #WhereYouBeen? Let's start with the artist himself, #RedSkies is an electronic artist from Baltimore, United States. Here I'll be reviewing his single before giving you and exclusive TJPL NEWS interview with the man himself. Sound good? Let's move along then... #WhereYouBeen is a production that I cannot get enough of! From the catchy EDM synths to the absolutely perfect vocals this track is EVERYTHING that should be in mainstream and independent charts! If you're a lover of EDM, pop - and well, anything electro then you will love this one. It implements those elements with a pop rock vocal that will blow you away. The vocals are soulful with a feel of rock about them all morphed into the catchiest lyrics and backed by the most perfectly mixed and executed production. I'm 100% rooting for this artist and can't wait to get into his latest album next time around! But for now, hit play on the link above and have a read through our interview! 10/10 x infinity / Nothing = #WhereYouBeen?

*INTERVIEW*

What would be your ultimate achievement for your latest release?

With this album, I'm hoping to start off strong and slowly evolve my sound

Is there a particular vision that you had when putting the song together?

Definitely multi-genre vibes with built in emotion.

If you could define music in one short sentence (no cheating) what would you say?

Electronic Multi-Genre Emotional Vibes with Substance maybe??

When did you first realise that you had the potential to be an artist?

I always overthink so I know the potential is there, I don't think I'm quite there yet though but I keep on trying!

Is there a memory that has stuck in your mind as the turning point for you?

When I started to shift from Hardcore/Punk, cover bands and starting getting more into electronic, pop, and mixing my sounds

How would you define your sound?

Electropop, pop, rock, hiphop, gaming vibes.

Cubase, Protools, or neither?

I use Reaper, Jeff(Mixing) uses Protools, and I'm not quite sure what Cesar uses... it's all a remote blend!

This might be a tricky one but Studio vs Live - Which do you prefer and why?

I love live, I also film live bands locally as well. Some of the live studio filming are great as well, so I guess it would all depend? Chris Cornell did some acoustic in a studio setting that sounded stellar!

How do you collaborate with vocalists and other artists?

I'm the vocalist, I haven't yet gotten a chance to collab with anyone else, but I'd love to start working with some artists that are interested.

If you had the opportunity to work with one of your favorite musical artists, who would you most like to collaborate with?

Mokita, Post Malone, Coldplay, AJR, Joywave, Milky Chance maybe?

What are your future plans?

After this album, I have more singles coming. I plan on continually making music, refining, and growing as an artist

What can we look forward to for the rest of 2022?

New single coming out soon a few weeks after the release of my album.

Where can we find the track?

You can find the tracks on every platform
