On 11th October 2024, The Future Sound Project brought an unforgettable night of live music to Muthers Studio in Birmingham, showcasing three unique and immensely talented artists: Angel Vile, K Novella, and Abi Hudson.
Each act delivered their own flair, captivating the audience with raw emotion, lyrical depth, and electrifying performances.
Angel Vile: Raw Energy and Authenticity
Angel Vile opened the night with a set brimming with energy and raw emotion. Alicia Kruger’s stunning lead vocals paired with a full band—Bradley Gregg and Nathan Cronin on guitar, Alastair Crossley on drums, and Josh Winfield-Harris on bass—created an immersive sound that set the tone for the evening. Performing tracks like “Black Sheep” and “Solace”, the band's gritty, unfiltered sound kept the crowd fully engaged.
The highlight of Angel Vile’s set was an original twist on The Beatles' “Don’t Let Me Down”, which blended originality with a respect for the classic. This was followed by “Crush”, a high-energy track that had the crowd dancing, and a stripped-back, hauntingly intimate performance of “Ultra Femininity” that left the room mesmerized. Angel Vile’s performance was a true standout, leaving the audience in awe.

Performing songs from her upcoming album, K Novella allowed the audience to choose between tracks, making the set feel more like a personal exchange than a typical performance.
